Combine yeast and milk, let stand ten minutes. Add sugar, eggs, shortening and salt. Sift flour. Add flour a little at a time, beating thoroughly. Turn onto a lightly floured board. Knead until smooth,cover with warm damp cloth. Let rise three hours. Roll in sheet 1/2 inch thick. Spread with melted butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll- cut. Sprinkle bottom of well oiled pan with brown sugar and pecans. Place rolls in pan with cut side up .Cover with warm damp cloth. Let rise until treble. Bake in hot oven at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, lower heat to 325 degrees and bake 10 minutes more. When done invert pan and let set 5 minutes, then remove.
