Sweet Dough Rolls

1 Cup Milk, Warm 1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Cup Shortening 2 Pkg Fast Rising Yeast Red Star
1 Cup Sugar 2 Eggs
4 1/2 Cup To 5 Cup Flour  

To start yeast put two packages fast rising red star, 1/4 cup of warm water and two teaspoons of sugar into a glass. When yeast starts working, add to the bowl and mix all ingredients. When mixed put dough on floured board and knead. Grease a bowl and put the dough into the bowl, turning to coat the dough. Cover with a warm damp cloth and let rise until double. When double, knead and put back in bowl and cover, let rise. When doubled again, cut dough into three pieces. Roll one at at time in a circle and cut into wedges, take each wedge and stretch. Starting at the large end roll and place on baking sheet. After this is all done bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. They freeze real well. These are the ones grandma douglas always makes.
