Whole Wheat Apple Muffins

1 1/4 Cup Flour 1 1/2 Cup Peeled Apples, Chopped
1/2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
2 Tsp Baking Powder 1/4 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Oleo, Melted 1 Egg
Topping 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
1/4 Cup Nuts, Chopped 1/4 Tsp Cinnamon

Heat oven to 400. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In small bowl combine apples and 1/2 cup of the flour; stir until apples are well coated. In large bowl combine remaining flour, whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Mix well. Add apples and remaining ingredients; stir just until moistened. In small bowl combine all topping ingredients; mix well. Divide batter evenly among muffin cups. Sprinkle each with about 2 teaspoons topping. Bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes.
