Rhubarb Cake

1 1/2 Cup Rhubarb, Finely Chopped 1/2 Cup Shortening
1 Tsp Salt 1 Tsp Soda
2 Cup Flour 1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed
1 Egg 1 Cup Sour Milk Or Butter Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla  

Cream shortening, sugar. Add egg and salt. Stir in sour milk, soda, vanilla and flour. Add cut up rhubarb. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle a mixture of 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon over top. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes.
