Bacon Bread
1 Cup Scaled Milk |
2 Tbl Bacon Drippings |
1 Cup Lukewarm Water |
2 Pkg Active Dry Yeast |
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour |
2 Tsp Salt |
1 Egg |
2 Tbl Brown Sugar |
1 Tbl Brown Sugar |
3 1/2 Cup Flour |
1/2 Tsp Coriander, Ground |
2 Strips Bacon, Crisp |
Cook and crumble crisp bacon. Mix luke warm milk with 2 t brown sugar,
bacon drippings and 1 egg, blend at high speed. Pour in large mixing
bowl. In small bowl combine 1 cup of luke warm water, 2 t brown sugar
and 2 pkgs. Of yeast, stir until yeast is dissolved. Let stand 5 min.
And add milk mixture, combine 3 1/2 cups of flour and 1 cup of whole
wheat flour. Add coriander and salt and crumbled bacon. Bake at 375
degrees until brown.
