Double Cheddar Corn Bread
1 Cup Yellow Corn Meal |
3 Tsp Baking Powder |
2 Cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded |
1/4 Cup Oleo, Melted |
1/2 Tsp Dry Mustard |
1 Green Pepper, Cut In Rings |
1 Cup Flour |
1 Tsp Salt |
1 Cup Milk |
1 Egg, Beaten |
4 Slice Crisp Bacon, Crumbled |

(1) sift together dry ingredients. (2) stir in one cup of cheese. (3)
combine the milk, oleo and egg, add to dry ingredients, mixing until
blended. Pour into greased 9 inch layer pan, top with remaining cheese.
Bake at 400 until toothpick comes out dry when inserted into the center.
