Spicy Peach Nut Bread
2 Cup Flour |
2/3 Cup Sugar |
2 Tsp Baking Powder |
1/2 Tsp Salt |
1/2 Tsp Soda |
1/4 Tsp Cloves |
2 Tbl Butter, Softened |
2 Cup Can Peaches 16 Oz Can, Drained |
1/2 Cup Reserved Syrup |
2 Eggs |
In large bowl blend ingredients at low speed until moistened. Beat 2
minutes at medium, scraping bowl occasionally. Add 1 cup chopped nuts
and 1 cup of raisins if desired. Pour into 9 x 5 loaf pan. Bake at 350
degrees 60-70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Drizzle with
powdered sugar glaze. Store in refrigerator.
