Apple Cake
1/3 Cup Water, Boiling |
2 Cup Unpeeled Apples, Chopped |
1 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed |
1 Cup Flour |
1 Cup Whole Wheat Flour |
1/3 Cup Oil |
1 1/4 Tsp Soda |
1 Tsp Cinnamon |
1 Tsp Vanilla |
1/2 Tsp Cloves |
1/4 Tsp Salt |
3 Eggs |
Nut Topping |
1/3 Cup Nuts, Chopped |
2 Tbl Cracked Brown Sugar |

Heat oven to 350. Spray 13x9 inch pan with cooking spray; dust with
flour. Pour boiling water over apples in large bowl. Add remaining
ingredients except nut topping. Beat with mixer; scrapping bowl
occassionally. Pour in to pan. Sprinkle with nut topping. Bake 40 to 50
minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
