Pom's Raisin Cake
| 1 Cup Water | 1 Cup Raisins |
| 3 Tbl Shortening | 2 Cup Flour |
| 1 Cup Sugar | 1/2 Tsp Salt |
| 1 Tsp Soda | 2 Tsp Baking Powder |
| 1/2 Tsp Cloves | 1 Tsp Cinnamon |
Combine in pan on top of stove the water, raisins and shortening. Cook to boiling stage and boil for 2 minutes. Cool a little. In a bowl combine the rest of the ingredients and mix throughly. Combine with raisins. Bake in 13 x 9 inch pan at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
