Red Cake

1 1/2 Cup Sugar 1 1/2 Cup Crisco
2 Eggs 1 Oz Red Food Color
1 Oz Water 2 Cup Flour
2 Tbl Cocoa 1 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Butter Milk 1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Vinegar 1 Tsp Soda

Blend sugar crisco and eggs, add water and food color, mix in flour cocoa and salt, alternate with buttermilk and add vanilla, mix in vinegar and soda. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
