Oatmeal Cookies (Tammys)
3/4 Cup Crisco |
1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Packed |
1 Egg |
1/3 Cup Milk |
1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla |
1 Cup All Purpose Flour |
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda |
1/2 Tsp Salt |
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon, Ground |
3 Cup Quick Oats, Not Instant |
1 Cup Raisins |
1 Cup Walnuts Or Pecans, Chopped |
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheet. 2. Combine
shortening, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla in large bowl. Beat medium
speed of electric mixer until well blended. 3. Combine flour, baking
soda, salt and cinnamon in small bowl. Mix into creamed mixture at low
speed until just blended. Stir in oats, raisins and nuts with a spoon. 4.
Drop rounded spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto cookie sheet. 5.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
